The 2012 Hyundai Tucson comes in three different trim levels: GL, GLS and Limited. The 2012 edition of the Tucson offers two different engine choices. The base GL comes equipped with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produces 165 hp and 146 pound-feet of torque. The GLS and Limited models sport a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine that produces 176 hp and 168 pound-feet of torque.
The GL trim comes standard with a five-speed manual transmission, with an optional six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC, which comes standard on every other model. Additionally, all models come standard with FWD, with AWD available for the GLS and Limited trims.
